Shantell Martin is a visual artist best known for her large scale, black-and-white drawings. She performs many of her drawings for a live audience. Born in Thamesmead, London, Martin lives and works in New York.

A stage… not so long ago I hired an artist/carpenter to build a stage in my studio so that I could workshop my One Woman Show.

It’s pretty organized…! Always room for improvement there though.

Would love to create a global project where in a number of countries myself and a team design and build playgrounds and reclaim space for good.
